changewise Leadership-Curriculum
Developing Meta-Competences in Leadership
The changewise leadership curriculum is based on the principle that meta-competences are the foundation of good leadership. Only on this basis can skills be developed and methods be selected and applied appropriately.
In everyday work, we often encounter the view that good leadership comes primarily from a well-stocked toolkit of methods. We find this belief misleading, and with our curriculum we want to offer an alternative approach.

Meta-Competences
Meta-competences are overarching competences that enable us to learn, develop, and apply skills effectively. They allow us to adapt to constantly changing demands and to keep learning throughout our lives. They are fundamental to personal and professional growth.
Examples: empathy, creativity, self-reflection, flexibility
Skills
Skills are our mental and practical aptitude for doing something and being capable of it. They play an important role in mastering complex challenges and achieving goals. Motivation, knowledge, and experience can influence and change our skills.
Examples: making decisions, giving and receiving feedback, dealing with change, thinking strategically
Methods
Methods enable us to apply skills and meta-competences through practical guiding tools.
Examples: situational delegation, guidelines for employee conversations, facilitation methods for meetings

You have already completed leadership training and have leadership experience.
You want to keep developing yourself and work on your own leadership topics.
You enjoy learning through focused exchange with other experienced leaders.

Peer Group Sessions (groups of 6 people)
Everyday work is the foundation of the peer groups and therefore of all curriculum content.
The peer groups are built as a serious, sustainable network.
Learning is based on real leadership situations.
Self-reflection and observational skills are strengthened through the peer groups.
Workshops (groups of 12 people / whole group)
Meta-competences are developed in the workshops through experience-based methods.
The foundations are laid for applying methods precisely and for learning skills.
The peer groups come together and can share their experiences and learnings with the whole group.
Individual Coaching
The work of the peer groups is supported in a personalized way that is close to everyday practice.
Individual learning is ensured through fixed coaching sessions.
Supporting methods for coachees are selected precisely and according to the situation.
